It's Just Me

It's Just Me

In my own personal opinion I think that West Virginia is a beautiful and sentimental place to live. Charleston isn't my favorite city because there's limited things for teenagers to do on the weekend, but all in all West Virginia is not boring. Our mountains are big and beautiful and so are out rivers and trees. This recent accident is a pure tragedy to all of us. Even people half way across the world. Many people lost their loved ones and I send my heart out to them. Coal miners are why our porch light comes on at night. Without them there wouldn't be energy to cook, watch television, have light to read a book, our world would be dark. I have the most respect for our miners and I will continue to pray for them and their families.

West Virginia has grown more and more popular as a state and we are shining brighter than ever. From sports to school we are starting to get better and better. Finally we are being viewed as the smart and talented state we are, but incidents that happen as what happened at massey brings us back down. Massey knew very well they needed to improve their mines and they didn't. How does that make us look and how does that make the families of these miners feel that their bosses didn't care enough to fix it and make their work environment as safe as possible.

I think that people around the world are shocked by this and are doing their best to support us in our darkest time. As a country America comes together when it is important. This is a devastation to the whole world. I know we can pull together and get through this. I can't push enough how much I believe God only takes the special ones. He has a plan for all of us, it just takes time to unravel.

Changing Colors

I thought this was really cool but very complicated. I highly doubt I will ever even attempt flash after this class! It is so hard to me and I wish I could do it more easily. The converting to buttons was really simple at first but now changing them and making them actually do something is a totally different story. I am not good at code at all, but I hope to get better. PJ helped so much and I think we would all be lost without him!
